Working with industry partners, the Training Department at PWSCC offers certified classes to meet industry needs for compliance with OSHA required courses like HAZWOPER or confined space awareness, training necessary for employees reporting for work on the North Slope, safety classes in first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and customized cold water safety and survival programs.
Alyeska Pipeline Service Company
Since the early 1990s, Prince William Sound Community College has worked in partnership with Alyeska Pipeline Service Company to develop training programs to meet regulatory requirements and the special training needs of oil spill response and terminal operations in Port Valdez.
